Lolz, looks like TriMet has to allow those damn political ads again.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - The Oregon Tax Court has ruled in favor of a California tribe in an free-speech lawsuit against the Portland-area transit agency Tri-Met.
The Karuk Tribe proposed an ad showing salmon blocked by an underwater wall of electrical outlets and saying: "Salmon shouldn't run up your electric bill. They should run up the Klamath River."
The ads referred to the struggle over fish and dams in the Klamath River.
Tri-Met said its ads focus on selling goods and services, and the Karuk's ad was too controversial.
The tax court said Tri-Met does not have to carry opinions of others, but if it does, it can't discriminate between political and commerical content.
The suit was brought by the American Civil Liberties Union.

Well I clearly am unable to post every day, I got close but then decided to read (Malcom X).
On another note Mr. Beck is driving me crazy, I have his reading plan Thursday morning, and then Malcom X has to be done Monday after we started yesterday! Then we start our five day final from hell as it seems....
Mrs. Nicolay's celebration night is Friday and I have to miss 5th and 6th period Thursday to rehearse (its supposed to be a dress but I don't have a white shirt oddly) I get to sign something in the show, sign a song, and serve food Friday! Woot?
So I did my presentation today and I'm 95% sure that I passed and so thats cleared up, now I have to do a CWI presentation Monday... Only seven days (maybe if I keep saying it we'll move toward it faster)
Time to read I guess

Not me V (No one who works in Customer Service is not even moderately attractive or that enthused unless they are laughing at the customer)

Me (Messy, tired, unhappy, much more realistic)

In any case I'm working right now, and by working I mean waiting for a call to come through but in the meantime I have a customer e-mail! Here's a gem from an e-mail,
"when I go online to iinet.com and click on support and scroll down, over to the right of my screen is a box saying NETWORK STATUS.....highlighted in red is the word DIALUP.....I have DSL.....Should DSL be highlighted instead of DIALUP?"
The customer means that he is looking here, http://support.iinet.com/, on the right it says "network status" and if you'll notice Dial-up is in fact red, and if you click on it there will be an explanation as dial-up service in Portland is having problems. Instead of doing that this customer has chosen to send an e-mail with lots of capitals and then observing that he has DSL and he thinks its broken but instead of saying that he asks if we put the posted the outage incorrectly (clearly without reading the bulletin). Bad customer, bad! Time to come up with a nice reply that puts it gently that "no, we did it right, you just don't understand what your doing"
So, anyway, I just moved to Beaverton about 26 miles from where I used to live and currently work (Infinity Internet, where things are Infinitely Easier!) and I am a bit worried about the upcoming rent and bills, and not for myself but for my roommates, one does not have a job (and I am a bit concerned is going to kind of pick and choose) and the other is having some.... money issues... I guess I should start saving my money so I can pay for all the bills, which I should be able to afford but if I end up having to pay anyones way I'm going to be livid... this might also be a good time for me to save up money to break the lease...
<My coworker just got a call, my turn is next!>
I'm almost finished with Atlas Shrugged which is not surprising considering my trip to work from Beaverton ranges from 2 to 3 hours (thank you public transportation) the ride really does not seem that long though, it seems fairly quick and I'm not sure why really, the part that really sucks is that when I get back into Beaverton late at night my bus (52 Farmington) has stopped running about 20 minutes prior to my arrival, but thats life right?
Still looking for a second job in customer service or retail or something, not sure what really. It will be easier once I'm finished with school and I'm available pretty much anytime that I'm not working here, might be necessary with the way things are going.
